We started out the official “have as much fun as you possibly can” portion of our vacation today. My sister-in-law and her husband and their kids came up from Miami and our kids got to get to know each other. Today, we all went over to Downtown Disney and checked out all the sights. If you’ve never been to Downtown Disney, it’s a shopping and eating complex done up as only Disney could do it. The world’s largest Disney store, a huge building filled with Hasbro and Disney merchandise, a Lego extravaganza and an amazing magic shop. There’s also a number of restaurants, including a Rain forest Cafe where we had a wonderful Easter lunch. The kids loved seeing the elephants and gorillas come to life every few minutes making lifelike noises while a tropical rain forest storm rolled through the dining room. I don’t think I’m going to eat again for another two days! Here are a few pictures from the best parts of the day.

Needless to say, we had a great day and it was a lot of fun to share this first day of our vacation with our family. Tomorrow, we head out on our own to tour the world and see the sights at Epcot.

Regarding you and Mr. Potato Head, which side are you on?
